A NOTE: This is not a book review. This post contains all the letters to holly from her guardian angel, and her dead husband Gerry in the very unfathomable and lovable book that is P.S: I Love You. So, if you have read the book, or seen the movie, or none, this is for you. This may just convince you to read the book, which you must.
P.S: The book is much better than the movie. Trust me. ;-)

 I have all the 10 letters from March to December lined up with the first too. Scroll down. Its not exactly like in the Movie.


My darling Holly,
I don’t exactly know where you are or when exactly you are reading this. I just hope that my letter has found you safe and healthy.You whispered to me not long ago that you couldn’t go on along. You can, Holly. You are strong and brave and you can get through this. We shared some beautiful times together. And you made my life.You made my life. I have no regrets. But I am just a chapter in your life there will be many more. Remember our wonderful memories, but please don’t be afraid to make some more.
Thank you for doing me the honor of being my wife. For everything, I am eternally grateful.
Whenever you need me, know that I am with you.

   till exist in your mind. You don’t need my sweater 
   to feel me around you; I am already here always 
   wrapping my arms around you.

    Hi Holly,
    I hope you’re having a wonderful holiday. 
    You’re looking beautiful in that bikini by the 
    way! I hope I have picked the right place for you. 
    It’s where you and I almost went on our honeymoon,
    remember? Well, I’m glad you got to see it 
    the end.......
    Apparently, if you stand at the very end of the 
    beach near the rocks across from the apartment,
    and look round the corner to the left, you’ll see 
    a lighthouse. I’m told that’s where the 
    dolphins gather....not many people know that.
    I know you love dolphins...... Tell them I said hi......

    “Shoot for the moon and if you miss you’ll still be among 
     the stars.” Promise me you’ll find a job that you love
     this time!

    safe in the knowledge that a warm and bright

[The last letter]






















Yes I know how you feel after reading that last letter.
If you haven’t read the aforementioned book this may seem not much relatable. But, people on the other side of the fence may go....awwwww…... may cry right away (which is fine btw) but this book is not only about these letters, which you may already know it’s a beautiful story. They are not only a sign of love or the care or as some of us may put it…”awwwfully cute”…. It’s about helping Holly get strong everyday and help her move on beyond. I also do want these kind of letters when I leave in a few days but personally I still have this doubt……. that in real life it may cause more harm than good.
